 Followed a Christmas lunch with Yui was a quiet evening. Ko went to bed at 7:30pm! Got a chance to wrap up my scraps, sweep the floor, clean my emails ... I know I should have enjoyed more this silence moment but interesting was I am not. Just hope it is not a sign of sick!!  Almost every year, he got sick when Santa visited us!

Probably it is a bit too early for "Happy New Year" !! This is my another submission for Moleskiner China's post card. I had so much fun and was totally hooked by the touch of Chinese character and western calligraphy strokes. Thank you Guangshan for thinking of me, letting me know about this contest.

I was reading at this post from Yui's blog, it was so impressive and interested in how a digital layout was transformed from hand drawing. Thus, there was another great experience of actually "following" the layout with "sepia" mementos by digtial. 日本語

Especially for those who bought the Exhibition Catalogue Kit from me on yesterday's VJ Opening Party.

昨日VJ CLUBのオープニングパーティで手作り作品集キットをご購入の方々へ。どうぞ、ご参考まで。何かご質問がありましたら、いつでも気軽に聞いてください。

１．16枚の表紙を切る。Cut out 16 book covers.

2. すべての箱を5mmの両面テープで天地を張る(両面）。Tape down 5mm double-side tape on the top and bottom of each box　（BOTH side).

３．表紙を箱に張り合わせる。注意：折り線を一つだけ折って、片面を貼ってから、指でしっかり押しながら、折り込んだほうが綺麗に仕上げられる。全体を貼り合わせた後に、スタンプやカラーテープーなどでフチ（天地）を飾るのもいいかも。

Glue down the book cloth (cover) into the box. Make ONLY one fold in the spine, glue down one side first, then press it with fingers, let the book cloth cover the whole box evenly.　Further decorate the edge by stamps or color tapes.

4. 外箱を組み立てる。蓋についてる「耳」を全体切り落とす。

Build up the big box. Cut out the extra ”fold down" from the box cover.

5.　本棚を紙や絵の具で自由に飾っておく。切り取った「耳」を9.5ｘ3.5ｃｍにトリミング、本棚の区切りにする。5mmの両面テープを半部に切って、本体をしっかり張り合わせる。注意：中敷が長すぎると、16冊のミニ本を綺麗に並べません。

Decorate the box by papers or paints, if you want. Trim the "fold down"  into 9.5x3.5cm, use it as partition. Please keep the length STRAIGHTLY at 9.5cm, otherwise, it will be too lose for 16 minibooks.

6. 16枚の本文を切って、じゃばらに折る。作者に合わせて箱に入れる。完成！！おめでとう。

Cut out and make accordion fold on every single pages (16 in total), insert it into box according to the names of artists.DONE！Contragulations.

After a long long long and intensive meeting in RBR yesterday. I came home and found this in my mail box. My order from Canada EVENTUALLY arrived !! Just can't wait to open it, pack it, hand it, use it .....

Then, what kept me busy and busy for are all these samples for the coming workshop at RBR... more details will be coming on next week at HERE.
